About me

I was born in south London to Welsh and Greek-Cypriot parents and lived in Cyprus during my formative teenage years.  This contributed to my interest in multicultural identities.

I returned to the UK for my undergraduate and postgraduate study and, having a deep interest in human behaviour, became an international qualitative research consultant specialising in branding and advertising.  The work enabled me to witness and understand people’s feelings, thoughts and experiences.  I communicated these insights to a wide variety of organisations to support them to improve their products, services and relationship with their customers and clients.

A natural progression was to take my interest in people a step further and re-train as a Humanistic psychotherapist in 2003.  My own experience of therapy was that feeling seen and heard for who I was could be transformative.  After an eight-year training programme, I graduated from Spectrum Therapy, which is a United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) member organisation.

I continue to feel privileged to work with people in this way every day.
